Dal Lake Located at the height of 1775 meters above sea level, the Dal Lake is a small yet picturesque lake surrounded by rugged mountains and towering deodar trees and is a marvelous place to be. Your Next stop is St. John Church this Anglican church lies in the forest near Forsythe Gunj. This neo-Gothic stone church was built in 1852 and has some fine Belgian stained-glass windows. Later drive to Bhagsunag: This ancient temple is 2 km from Mcleodganj. Close to this temple is a beautiful waterfall. The waterfall is present at a walkable distance from the Bhagsu temple and is a perfect place to revel in the glories of nature and spend some quiet moments in peace and serenity. Your last destination is the Dalai Lama Temple: It is the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The Tibetan Government in exile has been here for almost four decades. The impressive monastery has larger-than-life images of the Buddha, Padmasambhava, and Avalokteshwara.

After breakfast, proceed to Dalhousie - Known for its pleasant climate and natural beauty, Dalhousie is one of the most famous hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains, Dalhousie is named after its founder Lord Dalhousie, the British Governor-General in India. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. After breakfast, Excursion to Khajjiar.
Khajjiar is located towards the eastern side of Dalhousie with a distance of 01-hour drive. It is also known as the “Mini-Switzerland” of India. It is one of the most scenic saucer-shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island. Enjoy various sports activities like Zorbing, horse riding, etc. at your own cost. (In case of heavy snowfall during winter, the road to Khajjiar will be blocked. In such a case you can still visit Khajjiar from an alternate route with an extra transport cost. Or you can visit the nearby sightseeing Chamera Lake with no additional price)
Later drive back to Dalhousie and visit Panchpula, St Francis Catholic Church, and Mall Road.

After Breakfast Drive to Amritsar. Amritsar is located towards the southwestern side of Dalhousie with a distance of 5 hours drive. Upon arrival Check in at the hotel.
Later visit: Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib) The Golden Temple is famous for its full golden dome, it is one of the most sacred pilgrim spots for Sikhs. The Mandir is built on a 67-foot square of marble and is a two-storied structure. Maharaja Ranjit Singh had the upper half of the building built with approximately 400 kg of gold leaf. The Golden Temple is surrounded by a number of other famous temples. Like the Durgiana Temple. The fourth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Ram Das, who had initially constructed a pool here, founded Amritsar, which houses the Golden Temple or Harmandir Sahib.
Visit Jallianwala Bagh is a historic garden and ‘memorial of national importance’ in Amritsar, India, preserved in the memory of those wounded and killed in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre that occurred on the site on the festival of Baisakhi, 13 April 1919. It houses a museum, gallery, and a number of memorial structures.
Afternoon Visit Wagah Border (Timing: 1715 hrs. – 1800 Hrs timing may change in Summer or Winter) The Wagah-Attari Border Ceremony or the lowering of the flag ceremony takes place at the border gate between Pakistan and India. This military practice, observed every day since 1959, takes place two hours before sunset. Conducted by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) and the Pakistan Rangers.
