Bagdogra Arrival – Gangtok Transfer

Arrival at the Bagdogra Airport/station. Complete your baggage collection. Meet and greet from our tour representative and enjoy your transfer from Bagdogra to Gangtok.

Gangtok is located towards the north eastern side from Bagdogra with a distance of 4h30m drive. After reaching, complete the check-in process. Relax and freshen up. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy the hotel amenities, explore your nearby surroundings, or relax in your room and recharge yourself for the upcoming days. Gangtok - Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, day excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir.

Start your day with a visit to Tsomgo Lake. It will take you around 45m drive to reach it. This Lake is a glacial lake in Changu, located at an elevation of 3,753 m, and it remains frozen during the winter season. (In case of landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed, we will provide alternate sightseeing).

After that, enjoy your visit to Baba Mandir. This is a Memorial & temple honoring Indian army soldier, folk hero & saint Baba Harbhajan Singh. After completing your day excursion, you will be taken back to the hotel. The rest of the time will be free at leisure. After completing your day, enjoy your dinner and overnight stay in Gangtok.

Early in the morning, at around 4.00 am, you will be driven to Tiger Hills (2590 mts, subject to availability of permit & token) to see the spectacular view of the sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). Later, return back to your hotel. Enjoy your breakfast. After that, get ready for a Darjeeling Sightseeing Tour.   • Disposal vehicles do not operate between 22:00 hrs to 07:00 hrs and supplement charges will be applicable to operate between these timings.

  • Any special request such as adjacent rooms, interconnecting rooms, room on the same floor, 1 king-size / 2 Twin bed, early check-in, late checkout, no/smoking room, etc. is subject to availability upon check-in of the guest and is at the hotel&39s discretion. We will request this for you as a priority.
  • Itineraries shared at the time of Quotation/Confirmations are tentative and may change on tour if required keeping in mind the safety of the passengers.
  • Tours are operated as per driver cum guide and no separate guides are arranged unless mentioned in inclusions.
  • No amendment/changes in the tour itinerary will be entertained by local vendors while the guest is on tour as the services are pre-booked and incur cancellation charges.
  • Expenses incurred due to mishaps, landslides, strikes, political unrest, etc. In such cases, extra will be charged as per actual.
  • A credit card with the required limit is mandatory if the passengers wish to book Self-driven vehicles.
  • We reserve the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, implementations of government rules/restrictions, lockdowns, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels/flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of a visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
