Arrive Chandigarh - Drive to Shimla. (115 Km)

Welcome to Chandigarh, and be ready for a wonderful journey to “Queens of Hills” Himachal. At Chandigarh Airport or Railway station, our Driver will meet you and drive you to Shimla by road.

Shimla, former summer capital of British India & now a capital of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla has been blessed with all the natural bounties which one can think of. It has got a scenic location; it is surrounded by green hills with snow-capped peaks. The spectacular cool hills accompanied by the structures made during the colonial era create an aura which is very different from other hills. Day 02
Shimla - Shimla Local Sightseeing with Kufri

After Breakfast, Start your Journey to Kufri. Kufri 30 Minutes' drive from Shimla, is an exotica of nature as a place surrounded by dense forest and snow-capped mountains amidst virgin peaks and nature flora and fauna where one can completely relax and tune oneself for natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 2500 meters and a popular ski resort during the winter months. You can Visit the Kufri Fun Campus where you can enjoy various adventure activities.

Later back to Shimla and Visit: Jakhoo Hill and Temple (Visit time 800 hrs. till 1800 Hrs.) Covered in a blanket of alpine trees, Jakhoo Hill is the highest point of Shimla and offers scenic views of the snow-covered Shivalik Ranges and the sister town of Sanjauli. Situated at a height of 8000 ft.  Christ Church One of the prominent landmarks in Shimla, Christ Church is the second oldest church in northern India and boasts exceptional architectural beauty.  The Ridge and Mall Road The Ridge may well be defined as the heart of Shimla in terms of location and tourist attractions. This Shimla tourist spot is actually a wide-open street that runs along the Mall Road from east to west and connects it to the famous Scandal Point. Lakkar Bazaar, located on the tiny road adjoining The Ridge in Shimla, Lakkar Bazaar is one of the popular street shopping places famous for the wooden decorative paraphernalia.

Shimla – Manali - Drive to Manali (248 Kms)

After Breakfast Drive to Manali by road. Manali is a perfect hill station covered with snow mountains and beautiful waterfalls. On the way, enjoy the scenic beauty of Kullu Valley.

Kullu Valley in several mythological works like Ramayana, Mahabharata, etc. lends credence to the ancientness of the land. According to Hindu mythology, the valley is regarded as the cradle of all humankind. After the great deluge, Manu, the progenitor of humanity, is said to have rested his ark on a hillside and established his abode at the present Manali, which is regarded as the changed name of ‘Manu-Alaya’ (i.e. the home of Manu). Parshuram, regarded as one of the reincarnations of Vishnu, is believed to have inhabited the valley, and the Parshuram temple in Nirmand is regarded as a living testimony of this mythological association.

Day 04
Manali - Manali city tour with Naggar

After Breakfast Visit: Naggar Castle (Entrance payable directly): Naggar was the capital of the erstwhile Kullu Rajas for about 1400 years. It was founded by Raja Visudhpal and remained as the State headquarters until the capital was transformed to Kullu. Today this ancient and beautiful Palace is a popular tourist spot. Prof. Late Nicholas Roerich, a reputed artist had chosen Naggar as his residence when he came to India in 1929. The house has now been converted into an art gallery which houses a number of rare paintings and other specimens of art in Naggar.

Later return to Manali and enjoy local city tours, Like Vashisht, Hadimba Devi temple, Manu Temple, Van Vihar, and Mall Road.

Vashisht is a village in the Kullu district, and it is famous for the Vashisht Ashram and the Vashisht Baths (Hot Water Spring). Hadimba Temple dedicated to Goddess Hadimba, is located amid a beautiful Deodar Forest on top of a hill. Nyingmapa Buddhist Temple. Himalayan Nyingmapa Gompa is a Buddhist monastery located in Manali and one of the most famous monasteries situated in north India. Manu Temple. This historical Hindu temple in a serene setting back dropped by mountains is accessible by foot. The Van Vihar is a municipal garden situated in front of the Tibetan market on Mall Road, Manali.

Later spend your time at Mall Road of Manali and enjoy shopping at Mall Road.

Manali - Excursion to Solang Valley

After breakfast, enjoy a breathtaking drive to the famous Solang Valley. Solang Valley, locally known as Solang Nullah, is renowned as the preferred location for adventure activities in Manali. For those who love the rush of adrenaline; there is no place better than Solang in Kullu Valley to indulge in parachuting, paragliding, skating, and zorbing. It is 8500 feet above sea level. Its lush greenery, apple orchards, snow-capped peaks, and lakes attract lots of visitors.

You can also opt for an Optional Tour to Atal Tunnel or Rohtang Pass (At Extra Cost)

Atal Tunnel is a highway tunnel built under the Rohtang Pass in the eastern Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway. At a length of 9.02 km, it is the longest highway single-tube tunnel above 10,000 feet and is named after former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Rohtang Pass is located at an altitude of 3980m. You will have an awe-inspiring view of snowclad mountains and rivers. On the north side, there is situated the beautiful Chandra Valley of Lahaul.

  • Any special request such as adjacent rooms, interconnecting rooms, room on the same floor, 1 king-size / 2 Twin bed, early check-in, late checkout, no/smoking room, etc. is subject to availability upon check-in of the guest and is at the hotel&39s discretion. We will request this for you as a priority.
  • Itineraries shared at the time of Quotation/Confirmations are tentative and may change on tour if required keeping in mind the safety of the passengers.
  • Tours are operated as per driver cum guide and no separate guides are arranged unless mentioned in inclusions.
  • No amendment/changes in the tour itinerary will be entertained by local vendors while the guest is on tour as the services are pre-booked and incur cancellation charges.
  • Expenses incurred due to mishaps, landslides, strikes, political unrest, etc. In such cases, extra will be charged as per actual.
  • A credit card with the required limit is mandatory if the passengers wish to book Self-driven vehicles.
  • We reserve the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, implementations of government rules/restrictions, lockdowns, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels/flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of a visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
  • We will not be liable for any cancellations due to any rules/restrictions imposed by the government of India. The client has to bear all charges imposed because of any such implementation.

Booking Amount:

  • A non-refundable booking amount of INR 75,000 per person is required to confirm your reservation. This amount is part of the total tour cost and secures your place on the selected tour.

Payment Confirmation:

  • The booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the non-refundable booking amount. Until the booking amount is received, the reservation remains provisional and subject to availability.

Payment Methods:

  • Payments can be made through [bank transfer, Credit Card, Cheque payment]. Details for payment will be provided upon request or at the time of booking.

Remaining Payment:

  • The full and final payment for the tour must be completed as per the specified schedule outlined in the tour details or as communicated at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:

  • The booking amount of INR 75,000 is non-refundable under any circumstances. In case of cancellation, the applicable cancellation charges will be calculated based on the total tour cost.

Name Change:

  • No name changes are allowed after the booking is confirmed. The booking is non-transferable to another individual.

Minimum Booking Amount:

  • The minimum booking amount of INR 75,000 is mandatory for each passenger, and it is a non-negotiable and non-refundable component.

Booking Confirmation:

  • Booking confirmation and all related communications will be sent to the email address provided by the traveler(s) at the time of booking.

Tour Participation:

  • Participation in the tour is subject to the full payment of the tour cost and compliance with all terms and conditions.

Credit Note:

  • In the event of a cancellation, the refunded amount (if any) will be provided in the form of a credit note, valid for future Holiday package bookings with Atlas Tours And Travels Pvt. Ltd.

Acceptance:

  • By making the booking and paying the non-refundable amount, the traveler(s) acknowledge having read, understood, and agreed to abide by the Standard T&C and booking terms and conditions.

If you Cancel your Holiday:

  • Cancellation policy charged by the local vendor depending on the season of travel will be applicable and the same needs to be accepted by the Guest.
  • Bookings Confirmed under Non-Refundable/Amendable/Cancellable Policy will be charged 100% once the booking gets confirmed.
  • Any on tour issues/changes or cancellation needs to be settled by the local vendor/driver during the course of the tour and no refunds or issues will be entertained post-tour completion.
  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases, the operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However, a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.
