SRINAGAR | DAY EXCURSION TO SONMARG

Today you embark on a full-day excursion to the picturesque 'meadow of gold’ Sonmarg. The fast-flowing Sindh River makes it popular for trout and mahseer fishing in summer. You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment). Return to the Hotel in Srinagar in the evening and enjoy comfortably.

Note: The vehicle will drop and pick you up at the Gagangair car stand or Proper Sonmarg as per conditions. To reach the glaciers, you can hire ponies on your own payment basis.

Sonamarg: -Please note for Local Sightseeing around Sonamarg such as visit to Thajiwas OR Zero Point, please note we do not include same in our packages as they charge exorbitant rates not controlled by the Govtt. Visit to Thajiwas is worth seeing, For Thajiwas negotiate the prices at least upto 25-35% and that too on your own. For hiring Ponies OR Sledges OR Jackets & Shoes etc. at Sonamarg, please recheck the prices before taking services, fix the prices after negotiations. For taking such services, please note down the shopkeepers / Pony Walla’s name and. PLEASE GUESTS THAT THAJIWAS GLACIER OUT OF BOUNDS FOR TOURISTS ON VEHICLE AT SONMARG.

Day 03
SRINAGAR TO GULMARG

After breakfast leave from Srinagar and Drive straight to Gulmarg. Proceed to Gulmarg driving past willow trees, fast-flowing streams, and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the meadow of flowers is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow-capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees reach Gulmarg join Hotel for overnight rest.

SRINAGAR-PAHALGAM

After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) through the dense pine forest, the confluence of the streams flowing from the river Lidder & Sheshnag Lake, those are the famous for their picturesque beauty. After having your lunch at local restaurant, proceed to have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of splendid view of mountains. You can enjoy Horse ride at Pahalgam (Optional). Overnight stay at hotel.

Pahalgam: -Please note that in Pahalgam, your attached Vehicle can only be visited by you to make around of the local Bazaar from your Hotel to & fro. However, visiting Aru, Chandanwari & Betaab Valley, you will have to hire a local Taxi on your own with the help of your Driver OR Hotel Manager OR in case same is included in your program, Vehicle will be provided by us thru your attached driver, specifically for visit to the Sightseeing places and such local Vehicle will be provided on trip wise basis with a maximum haltage of 60 Minutes at Aru, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari and should you stay for more than 60 minutes, extra hours will be charged by the driver and same should be paid directly to them.

Pahalgam Sightseeings

This Morning after breakfast Enjoy Beetab Valley, Aru Valley, Chandanwai (Done by local Taxi/ or Pony at your Own Cost) Betaab Valley: -Betaab Valley is a very famous tourist spot situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Pahalgam. The valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The Valley is towards northeast of Pahalgam and falls between Pahalgam and Chandanwari and is en route Amarnath Temple Yatra. The valley surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation. Aru Valley: -Aru is located around 12 from Pahalgam, 11 km upstream from the Lidder River. Noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies of the left bank of the Aru River, which is a tributary of the Lidder River. Chandanwari:- Chandanwari is situated 16-km from Pahalgam, Chandanwari is the starting point of the AmarnathYatra, which takes place every year in the month of Sawan (Rain). It is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge.  Mini Switzerland: Consists of three Points Kashmir Valley, Baisaran and Dabyan Valley (Can be done by pony at your Own Cost) Often dubbed as ‘Mini Switzerland’ because of its long dark meadows resembling the ones in Switzerland, Baisaran is an eye-catching meadow, located just 5 km away from Pahalgam. The dense pine forest that gives the green carpet look to the meadow provides a contrasting hue to snow-capped peaks of the surrounding mountains. A major tourist place to visit in Pahalgam, a voyage to the meadow is truly a treat for the senses.

PAHALGAM - SRINAGAR

After Breakfast free to relax and absorb the serene beauty of Pahalgam. Stroll along the Lidder River, surrounded by snow capped mountains. Or you can visit Baisaran on your own. If it is the snow that beckons you then you can alternatively opt to visit Aru or Chandanwari (16 kms) where you can find snow even in summer. Overnights at Pahalgam Full Day enjoyment in Pahalgam. Like Chandanwari/ Aru valley/ Bataab valley (at own cost) after noon check out hotel drive to Srinagar join Hotel/Houseboat. After fresh enjoy Shikara ride ride on Dal Lake at you own cost back to Hotel/ Houseboat for overnight stay.

  • Any special request such as adjacent rooms, interconnecting rooms, room on the same floor, 1 king-size / 2 Twin bed, early check-in, late checkout, no/smoking room, etc. is subject to availability upon check-in of the guest and is at the hotel&39s discretion. We will request this for you as a priority.
  • Itineraries shared at the time of Quotation/Confirmations are tentative and may change on tour if required keeping in mind the safety of the passengers.
  • Tours are operated as per driver cum guide and no separate guides are arranged unless mentioned in inclusions.
  • No amendment/changes in the tour itinerary will be entertained by local vendors while the guest is on tour as the services are pre-booked and incur cancellation charges.
  • Expenses incurred due to mishaps, landslides, strikes, political unrest, etc. In such cases, extra will be charged as per actual.
  • A credit card with the required limit is mandatory if the passengers wish to book Self-driven vehicles.
  • We reserve the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, implementations of government rules/restrictions, lockdowns, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels/flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of a visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
  • We will not be liable for any cancellations due to any rules/restrictions imposed by the government of India. The client has to bear all charges imposed because of any such implementation.

Booking Amount:

  • A non-refundable booking amount of INR 75,000 per person is required to confirm your reservation. This amount is part of the total tour cost and secures your place on the selected tour.

Payment Confirmation:

  • The booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the non-refundable booking amount. Until the booking amount is received, the reservation remains provisional and subject to availability.

Payment Methods:

  • Payments can be made through [bank transfer, Credit Card, Cheque payment]. Details for payment will be provided upon request or at the time of booking.

Remaining Payment:

  • The full and final payment for the tour must be completed as per the specified schedule outlined in the tour details or as communicated at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:

  • The booking amount of INR 75,000 is non-refundable under any circumstances. In case of cancellation, the applicable cancellation charges will be calculated based on the total tour cost.

Name Change:

  • No name changes are allowed after the booking is confirmed. The booking is non-transferable to another individual.

Minimum Booking Amount:

  • The minimum booking amount of INR 75,000 is mandatory for each passenger, and it is a non-negotiable and non-refundable component.

Booking Confirmation:

  • Booking confirmation and all related communications will be sent to the email address provided by the traveler(s) at the time of booking.

Tour Participation:

  • Participation in the tour is subject to the full payment of the tour cost and compliance with all terms and conditions.

Credit Note:

  • In the event of a cancellation, the refunded amount (if any) will be provided in the form of a credit note, valid for future Holiday package bookings with Atlas Tours And Travels Pvt. Ltd.

Acceptance:

  • By making the booking and paying the non-refundable amount, the traveler(s) acknowledge having read, understood, and agreed to abide by the Standard T&C and booking terms and conditions.

If you Cancel your Holiday:

  • Cancellation policy charged by the local vendor depending on the season of travel will be applicable and the same needs to be accepted by the Guest.
  • Bookings Confirmed under Non-Refundable/Amendable/Cancellable Policy will be charged 100% once the booking gets confirmed.
  • Any on tour issues/changes or cancellation needs to be settled by the local vendor/driver during the course of the tour and no refunds or issues will be entertained post-tour completion.
  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases, the operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However, a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.
